Refunds and Cancellations
Version 2026-09-30 · Effective 30 September 2026
In short. If you buy DiskFox and change your mind, you can get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason, even after you've started using it. If DiskFox is faulty or not as described, you also have legal rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
1. Who sells DiskFox
DiskFox licences are sold by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar takes your payment and processes refunds. To ask for a refund, email support@diskfox.app with the order number from your Polar receipt and we'll arrange it, or contact Polar using the details on your receipt. We remain responsible for faults in DiskFox itself.
2. Changing your mind: 14 days, no questions asked
2.1 You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of buying a licence and get a full refund. This applies even if you've already downloaded, activated or used DiskFox; we don't ask you to give up this right at checkout.
2.2 To cancel, email support@diskfox.app with your order number. You'll be refunded within 14 days of telling us, using the payment method you used, without any fee.
2.3 This goes further than the law requires. Your legal rights in section 3 still apply.
3. If DiskFox is faulty or not as described
3.1 If you are a consumer, DiskFox must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, contact us at support@diskfox.app. We'll repair or replace it. If we can't, or can't do so within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you're entitled to a price reduction, which may be a full refund.
3.2 If DiskFox damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or compensate you.
3.3 These rights apply even after the 14-day period in section 2.
4. The free trial
DiskFox includes a free 14-day trial so you can check that it works on your Mac before you buy. The trial never turns into a purchase, so there is nothing to cancel or refund when it ends.
5. The free beta
Pre-release versions of DiskFox are free, so there is nothing to refund. If a free version damages your Mac or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, section 3.2 still applies.
6. Subscriptions
DiskFox isn't sold as a subscription, and buying a licence never sets up a repeating payment.
7. How refunds are paid
We refund using the payment method you used, within 14 days of agreeing that you're entitled to a refund, without any fee. When a licence is refunded, it ends and DiskFox stops working on the Macs where it was activated.
8. Contact
DiskFox is a trading name of Krishan Assi, a sole trader whose business address is 19 Britton Avenue, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL3 5EJ, United Kingdom.
